Retro-Modern Design on Seven Mile Beach

Palm Heights is a design-driven, all-suite boutique hotel on Grand Cayman's Seven Mile Beach, built around a 1970s Caribbean aesthetic — vintage furniture by Marcel Breuer, Mario Bellini, and Ingo Maurer set against sunny yellow, orange, and turquoise interiors. The property's restaurants carry the same playful point of view: Tillies on the beach, the casual Coconut Club, Yashinoki for Japanese, and Paradise Pizza & Shawarma, alongside the Garden spa and gym.

This shoot documents a hotel built on a specific design language rather than a generic resort look — the furniture, the color, the light bouncing off the pool deck. As a boutique hotel and lifestyle photographer, work like this centers on how design and hospitality intersect, the same approach I bring to other design-forward properties like INNESS in the Catskills.
