The Story
This shoot follows a traditional dahabiya sailboat up the Nile toward Luxor, then moves inland to the Pyramids of Giza and the surrounding desert — camel treks in the shadow of the Great Pyramid, golden-hour light on the dunes, and the quieter rhythm of river travel in between. Egypt is a destination where ancient landmarks and modern luxury travel sit side by side, and the imagery reflects both: the monuments people travel across the world to see, and the boats, camps, and camel treks that carry them there.
As a travel photographer, Egypt is one of the destinations where documentary instinct matters most — capturing real light and real moments on the Nile and in the desert, rather than staging a version of the trip. It's the same eye for place and light I bring to luxury hotel and resort work worldwide, applied to a destination shoot rather than a single property.
