The Story
Four Seasons Hotel New York occupies a 52-story Art Deco tower designed by I.M. Pei at 57 East 57th Street, between Madison and Park Avenues — steps from Central Park, Fifth Avenue, and Rockefeller Plaza. Closed since March 2020, the hotel reopened in November 2024 after a major renovation, with The Garden restaurant, overlooking the grand lobby and 57th Street under Chef Maria Tampakis, and TY Bar anchoring its ground floor.
As a New York City-based hospitality and interior photographer, documenting this property meant photographing a landmark building at a pivotal moment — the first year of its new era, from its restored Pei-designed lobby to its guest suites and skyline views over Midtown. It's the kind of shoot that sits at the center of my NYC portfolio: architecture, interiors, and hospitality.
